- Who is responsible

- In short
- No account, no sign-in and no server of our own. Your scripts are processed on your device. No advertising, no tracking and no analytics tools.
- Speech recognition
- Voice mode uses Apple’s on-device speech recognition. Audio never leaves your device. The microphone is only on after you start it, never in the background.
- Camera
- Only when you turn it on. Recordings stay on your device: in your Photo Library on iPhone and iPad, and where you save them on Mac. Nothing is uploaded unless you share it yourself.
- iCloud sync (Full Version)
- Your scripts are stored in your private iCloud database (Apple CloudKit, container iCloud.de.timoweigelt.GrandTeleprompter). We have no access to it. You can turn sync off in the app.
- Purchases
- Payment, billing and cancellation run through your Apple ID. We never see your payment details.
- RevenueCat
- We use RevenueCat, Inc. (USA) to handle purchases and the subscription. The app identifies itself to RevenueCat only with an anonymous app user ID that RevenueCat creates on your device — no name, email address or account. RevenueCat processes this ID, the App Store transaction data of your purchases (product, purchase and renewal dates, transaction IDs), the resulting purchase and subscription status, and technical data sent with each request, such as app and system version, store country and the IP address. RevenueCat acts as our processor. Legal basis: performance of the contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. - This website
- Hosted by Hostinger on servers in Frankfurt, Germany. Hostinger's servers automatically record technical access data (IP address, time, page requested, status code, possibly browser information) to run the site securely and defend against attacks (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Hostinger deletes them automatically after a period it sets itself, which we cannot influence; we can view them for up to 7 days back, only do so when needed for security and do not analyse them. No cookies, no tracking, no third-party fonts or scripts. Messages from the contact form are sent to us by email through Brevo (Brevo GmbH, Berlin) and only used to answer you. - Your rights
- Access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability and objection under the GDPR. You can also complain to a supervisory authority; ours is the Saxon Data Protection and Transparency Commissioner.
